Belimo R2050-40-S4 – valve with regulating orifice

2-way ball control valve with female thread. Designed for water-side control in ventilation and heating systems.

Key specifications

  • Nominal diameter DN 50; Rp 2" female-thread connection in accordance with ISO 7-1.
  • PN 25; Kvs 40 m³/h; ps 1600 kPa.
  • Medium: water, water with up to 50% vol. glycol.
  • Medium temperature: -10...120°C [14...248°F].
  • Differential pressure: ∆pmax 350 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa. 200 kPa is specified for quiet operation.
  • Flow characteristic: equal percentage, integrated regulating orifice.
  • Tightness: bubble-tight, leakage class A.
  • Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel.

Installation and operating instructions

Permitted installation position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the axis; installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body.

At a medium temperature of -10...2°C, stem heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted medium temperature may be limited depending on the actuator type; refer to the relevant actuator data sheets for restrictions.
