Belimo R225PW-Q ball valve

2-way open/close ball valve designed for stationary drinking water installations. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator controlled by an open/close signal.

Key features and specifications

• DN 25, PN 40; Rp 1" female thread in accordance with ISO 7-1.
• Kvs 40 m³/h; closing pressure ∆ps 1600 kPa; maximum differential pressure ∆pmax 200 kPa (DN 15...25).
• Fluid: drinking water; fluid temperature 5...100°C [41...212°F].
• Drinking water certifications: ACS, DVGW, KIWA, PZH, WRAS, ÜA.
• Body and stem: lead-free, dezincification-resistant brass (CW511L) (ISO 6509). The closing element is made of the same material and is chrome-plated; stem seal: EPDM, seat: PTFE.
• Leak-tightness: bubble-tight, leakage class A; rotation angle 90°.

Installation and operating instructions

Permitted installation position ranges from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem; do not install with the stem pointing downwards. The valve must be operated at least once a week. According to the documentation, the valve and rotary actuator are maintenance-free.
