Belimo R420 – on/off ball valve

2-way valve with male thread, designed for open and closed water systems. It is used to shut off flow on the water side and for on/off control in ventilation and heating systems.

Key features

DN 20, G 1 1/4" male thread, PN 40.
Kvs 21 m³/h; maximum differential pressure Δpmax 400 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa.
Medium: water and water with up to 50% by volume glycol; potable water on request.
Medium temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F]. Valve neck extension is recommended at -10...2°C; the permissible temperature may depend on the actuator type.
Bubble-tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1).
Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closing element and stem.
Rotation angle 90°; the valve opens counter-clockwise and closes clockwise.

Differential pressure recommendation: 200 kPa to ensure quiet operation. Permitted installation: from vertical to horizontal relative to the stem; installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted.
