6-way regulating ball valve with a regulating orifice, designed for closed-loop water systems. The two sequences, cooling and heating, can be operated using a single 90° rotary actuator.

Key features and technical data

• DN 20; Rp 3/4" female thread to ISO 7-1; PN 16.
• Kvs (sequence I): 2.5 m³/h; Kvs (sequence II): 1.6 m³/h.
• Medium: water, water with max. 50% vol. glycol; medium temperature: 6...80°C [43...176°F].
• Maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 100 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps: 350 kPa; quiet operation Δpv100 <50 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: linear. Permissible leakage: bubble-tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1).
• Angle of rotation: 90°; sequence 1: 0...30° (cooling recommended), dead zone: 30...60°, sequence 2: 60...90° (heating recommended).
• Nickel-plated brass body; chrome-plated brass closing element; stainless steel regulating orifice.
• The integrated pressure relief compensates for changes in medium pressure in a closed volume when the valve is in the closed position (45°).

Installation instructions

Permitted installation position: from vertical to horizontal with respect to the spindle. Do not install with the axis pointing downwards. Maintain the correct flow direction; the ball position corresponds to the “L” marking on the shaft.
