Belimo X8028M.1A3A3 – expansion valve

Hermetically sealed, two-way expansion valve for continuous capacity control in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. The valve is tight-closing and maintenance-free.

• Kvs: 1.2 m³/h; PN 50; permissible operating pressure ps: 5000 kPa; maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 3500 kPa.
• Connection: internal ODF 28-28 mm solder sleeve.
• Power supply: AC/DC 24 V; power consumption during operation: 1.5 W; power consumption for cable sizing: 2.6 VA.
• Communication control: bipolar stepper-motor signals (4 wires) from the superheat controller. Configuration via smartphone in the xBALL Syncra app.
• Motor running time: 15 s / 90°; flow characteristic: equal percentage (VDI/VDE 2173).
• Ambient temperature: -30...50°C [-22...122°F]; medium temperature: -20...70°C [-4...158°F], with ZCQ-E: 70...120°C [158...248°F].
• Tightness: air-bubble tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1); IEC/EN protection rating IP54; IEC/EN protection class III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
• Body: CW617N brass; closing element: AISI 316L stainless steel.

The valve is suitable for A3 safety-class refrigerants (ISO 817) and CFC, HFC, HFO and R290 refrigerants. Permitted installation position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the spindle; installation with the spindle pointing downwards is not permitted. Suitability for a specific application with a flammable refrigerant must be assessed separately by the user.
