Belimo X8028M.1AAA3 – expansion valve

Hermetically sealed 2-way expansion valve for continuous capacity control in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. The model provides tight shut-off and requires no maintenance.

Key features and specifications

• Kvs: 1.2 m³/h; connection: ODF 28-28 mm internal solder socket; PN 50.
• Suitable for CFC, HFC, HFO and R290 refrigerants, as well as safety class A3 refrigerants (ISO 817).
• Power supply: AC/DC 24 V; operating power consumption: 1.5 W; power consumption for cable sizing: 2.6 VA.
• Control: bipolar stepper motor signals (4 wires) from a superheat controller; MP-Bus communication. Configurable via smartphone using the xBALL Syncra app.
• Motor travel time: 15 s / 90°; safety function travel time: 15 s / 90°.
• Refrigerant temperature: -20...70°C [-4...158°F]; with ZCQ-E: 70...120°C [158...248°F]. Ambient temperature: -30...50°C [-22...122°F].
• Permissible operating pressure ps: 5000 kPa; maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 3500 kPa.
• Bubble-tight shut-off, leakage rate class A (EN 12266-1); equal-percentage flow characteristic (VDI/VDE 2173).

• Body: CW617N brass; closing element: AISI 316L stainless steel.
• Installation permitted from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem; installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted.
