Characteristics

Digital measuring and control device designed to control ventilation, the inlet flap system and supplementary heating in livestock buildings. It maintains a stable room temperature by continuously adjusting fan speed.

Description

Microprocessor-based microclimate controller from the SPEED COONTROL series. The device's versatility is ensured by its wide range of system inputs/outputs and intuitive software in Polish and English. In addition to basic settings for temperature, ventilation, supplementary heating, minimum/maximum ventilation levels and alarms, the controller programme allows testing and saving calibration settings for actuators connected to the controller.

Operating principle

The main function of the SC-12 ventilation controller is to maintain the temperature in the livestock building at the level set by the farmer. The microclimate created results in high weight gains in pigs or poultry. Livestock do not use the energy obtained from feed to warm their bodies, or reduce their feed intake in the event of high temperatures. Please remember that the controller is only a tool intended to help provide optimum climatic conditions in the livestock building. However, the farmer plays the primary role in this process and should adjust the device settings to changing climatic conditions outdoors, and above all to the animals' requirements in the livestock building, as well as monitor the device's operation using the alarm control panel.
