Belimo C520Q-J – switching zone valve

3-way valve with male thread, designed for switching and open/close control on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. The valve is repositioned by a rotary actuator controlled by an open/close signal.

Key features and specifications

• DN 20; connection: G 3/4" male thread compliant with ISO 228-1; PN 25.
• Kvs 3.6 m³/h; ps 1600 kPa.
• Fluid: water or water with a maximum of 50% by volume glycol.
• Fluid temperature: 2...100°C [36...212°F]; with actuator 2...90°C.
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 280 kPa; closing pressure: 280 kPa. 50 kPa is specified for quiet operation.
• Leak-tightness: bubble-tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1).
• Rotation angle: 90°; flow is possible in both directions.
• Brass body and stem; chrome-plated brass closing element; stem seal: EPDM O-ring; seat: PTFE, EPDM O-ring.
• Tool-free snap-fit actuator installation; the valve requires no maintenance.

Permitted mounting position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the stem. Installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted. To achieve the 90° rotation angle required for the switching function, remove the end stop on the actuator.
