The P500A is a clip-on feedback potentiometer for damper actuators and rotary actuators. The mounting plate transfers the position from the shaft clamp of a damper actuator or the position indicator of a rotary actuator to the potentiometer.

The device is designed for modulating control of dampers in combination with controllers with fixed feedback. It can also be used with standard damper position indication systems or as a position setter for actuators operating in parallel.

• Power rating: Max. 1 W; linearity: ±2%; resolution: Min. 1%.
• Residual resistance: Max. 5% on both sides.
• Potentiometer connection: 1 m cable, 3 x 0.75 mm², FRNC (halogen-free).
• Degree of protection IEC/EN: IP54; protection class IEC/EN: III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
• Ambient temperature: -30...50°C [-22...122°F].
• Ambient humidity: Max. 95% RH, non-condensing.

The potentiometer is mounted directly at the shaft clamp of the damper actuator or on the position indicator of the rotary actuator.
