2-way modulating ball valve with control orifice, designed for open and closed-loop water systems and water-side control in ventilation and heating systems.

Key features

  • DN 15, PN 40; Rp 1/2" female threaded connection in accordance with ISO 7-1.
  • Kvs 1.6 m³/h; equal-percentage flow characteristic.
  • Fluid: water or water with a maximum of 50% by volume glycol; fluid temperature -10...120°C [14...248°F].
  • Maximum differential pressure Δpmax 350 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa. For quiet operation: 200 kPa.
  • Bubble-tight, leakage class A.
  • Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closing element and stem.
  • Rotation angle 90°; operating range 15...90°.

Installation instructions

Installation is permitted from vertical to horizontal relative to the axis; do not install with the axis pointing downwards. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body. At a fluid temperature of -10...2°C, stem heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may depend on the actuator type.
