Belimo R2015-P25-S1 is a 2-way regulating ball valve with a regulating orifice, designed to control flow on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. It has DN 15, Rp 1/2" female thread, PN 40 and Kvs 0.25 m³/h.

Belimo R2015-P25-S1 – 2-way regulating valve

A valve with a regulating orifice for open and closed water systems and for flow control on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. The integrated orifice provides an equal-percentage flow characteristic. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator.

  • Design: 2-way; DN 15; PN 40; Rp 1/2" female thread in accordance with ISO 7-1.
  • Kvs: 0.25 m³/h; ps 1600 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa; differential pressure Δpmax 350 kPa.
  • Medium: water, water containing up to 50% vol. glycol; medium temperature -10...120°C [14...248°F].
  • Flow characteristic: equal-percentage (VDI/VDE 2173), optimised in the opening range.
  • Tightness: bubble-tight, leakage rate class A (EN 12266-1).
  • Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel; regulating orifice: ETFE.
  • Rotation angle: 90°; operating range 15...90°.

Installation notes

Permitted mounting position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the valve axis; installation with the axis pointing downwards is not permitted. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body. At a medium temperature of -10...2°C, stem heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted medium temperature may depend on the actuator type.

A differential pressure of 200 kPa is specified to ensure quiet operation.
