Belimo R2050-25-S4 – 2-way control valve

Control valve with an integrated regulating orifice for water-side control in ventilation and heating systems. Suitable for open and closed water circuits. The integrated regulating orifice provides an equal-percentage flow characteristic.

Key features and specifications

  • Design: 2-way; DN 50; PN 25; ps 1600 kPa.
  • Pipe connection: Rp 2" female thread, in accordance with ISO 7-1.
  • Kvs: 25 m³/h.
  • Fluid: water, water with a maximum of 50% vol. glycol.
  • Fluid temperature: -10...120°C [14...248°F].
  • Differential pressure: ∆pmax 350 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa. For quiet operation, 200 kPa is specified.
  • Flow characteristic: equal-percentage; tightness: bubble-tight, leakage rate class A.
  • Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel; stem seal: EPDM O-ring; seat: PTFE, EPDM O-ring; regulating orifice: ETFE.

Installation notes

Permitted installation position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the axis; installation with the axis pointing downwards is not permitted. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body.

At fluid temperatures of -10...2°C, stem heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may depend on the actuator type; limits are given in the relevant actuator data sheets.
