Belimo R3020-S2 – diverting ball valve

3-way valve with female thread for diverting and open/close control on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator controlled by an open/close signal.

Main features and specifications

• DN 20, Rp 3/4" female-thread connection according to ISO 7-1, PN 40.
• Kvs 32 m³/h; flow through bypass B – AB: approximately 50% of the Kvs value.
• Medium: water or water with up to 50% vol. glycol; medium temperature: -10...120°C [14...248°F].
• ps 1600 kPa; maximum differential pressure Δpmax 1000 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa. A differential pressure of 200 kPa is specified for quiet operation.
• Tightness: A – AB – bubble-tight, Class A (EN 12266-1); B – AB – Class I (EN 1349 and EN 60534-4), max. 1% of the Kvs value.
• Rotational angle 90°. Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closure element and shaft.
• Permitted installation from vertical to horizontal relative to the shaft; installation with the shaft pointing downwards is not permitted.

At a medium temperature of -10...2°C, shaft heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted medium temperature may depend on the actuator type; limitations are stated in its data sheet.
