Belimo R3040-BL3 – changeover ball valve

3-way valve with an L-shaped bore, designed for changeover and open/close control on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator controlled by an open/close signal.

Key features

• DN 40; Rp 1 1/2" female threaded connection according to ISO 7-1; PN 25.
• Kvs 14 m³/h; ps 1600 kPa; maximum differential pressure Δpmax 350 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 500 kPa.
• Fluid: water or water with a maximum of 50% by volume glycol; fluid temperature -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Tightness: bubble-tight, leakage rate class A (EN 12266-1).
• Nickel-plated brass body, chrome-plated brass closing element, stem seal: EPDM O-ring; seat: PTFE, EPDM O-ring.
• Rotation angle 90°; installation from vertical to horizontal relative to the valve axis, not in a suspended position.

For fluid temperatures of -10...2°C, stem heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may depend on the actuator used. A differential pressure of 200 kPa is specified for quiet operation.
