Belimo R422 – 2-way control valve

A valve with a regulating insert for water-side control in ventilation and heating systems. The integrated insert provides an equal-percentage flow characteristic. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator.

Key features

• Design: 2-way; DN 25; PN 40.
• Pipe connection: G 1 1/2" male thread, in accordance with ISO 228-1.
• Kvs: 6.3 m³/h.
• Fluid: water, water with up to 50% vol. glycol.
• Fluid temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: equal-percentage, optimised in the opening range.
• Leak-tightness: bubble-tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1).
• Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel.
• Permitted mounting position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the stem; mounting with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted.

At a fluid temperature of -10...2°C, a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may depend on the actuator type; limitations are specified in the relevant actuator data sheets.
