Belimo R424 – regulating valve

2-way ball valve with a regulating insert for controlling flow on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. It can be used in open and closed water circuits.

Key features and specifications

• Nominal diameter: DN 25; nominal pressure: PN 40; ps 1600 kPa.
• Connection: G 1 1/2" male thread, in accordance with ISO 228-1.
• Kvs: 16 m³/h.
• Fluid: water, water with a maximum of 50% vol. glycol.
• Fluid temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: equal percentage; leakage: bubble-tight, leakage class A.
• Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closing element and stem.

At fluid temperatures of -10...2°C, extending the valve neck is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may depend on the actuator type; limitations are specified in its product datasheet. The valve can be installed from vertical to horizontal, but not with the stem pointing downwards.
