Belimo R440 is a 2-way on/off ball valve with a nominal diameter of DN 40, G 2 1/4" male thread, PN 25 and Kvs 32 m³/h. It is designed for shut-off on the water side and on/off control in ventilation and heating systems.

Medium: water or water with a maximum of 50% by volume glycol. Medium temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].

Belimo R440 – technical data

2-way on/off ball valve with male thread. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator controlled by an on/off signal.

  • Nominal diameter: DN 40; male thread: G 2 1/4"; PN 25.
  • Kvs: 32 m³/h; ps: 1600 kPa.
  • Medium: water, water with a maximum of 50% by volume glycol; drinking water on request.
  • Medium temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F]. A valve neck extension is recommended at -10...2°C. The permissible range may depend on the actuator type.
  • Differential pressure: ∆pmax 400 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa. For quiet operation: 200 kPa.
  • Tightness: bubble-tight, leakage rate class A (EN 12266-1).
  • Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel; stem seal: EPDM O-ring; seat: PTFE, Viton O-ring.
  • Rotation angle: 90°. Installation is permitted from vertical to horizontal relative to the stem; installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted.
