Belimo R511 – 3-way control valve

Ball valve with a regulating orifice for modulating water-side flow control in ventilation and heating systems. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator; the actuator is not specified as part of the set.

• Pattern: 3-way; DN 15; PN 40.
• Connection: G 1" external thread according to ISO 228-1.
• Kvs: 1.6 m³/h; flow through bypass B – AB: 70% of the Kvs value.
• Medium: water, water with up to 50% vol. glycol.
• Fluid temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: A – AB equal percentage, B – AB linear.
• Leakage: A – AB bubble-tight, leakage class A; B – AB leakage class I, 1...2% of the Kvs value.
• Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel; regulating orifice: ETFE.
• Rotation angle: 90°.

Installation notes

Permitted mounting position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the stem; do not install with the stem pointing downwards. At a fluid temperature of -10...2°C, extending the valve neck is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may depend on the actuator used.
