Belimo R518 – 3-way control valve

A valve with a control orifice and male thread, designed for open and closed water systems and water-side control in ventilation and heating systems.

Key parameters

• Design: 3-way; DN 20, PN 40; G 1 1/4" male thread.
• Kvs: 6.3 m³/h; flow through bypass B – AB: 70% of the Kvs value.
• Medium: water, water with max. 50% by volume glycol; medium temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: A – AB equal-percentage, B – AB linear.
• Leakage: A – AB bubble-tight, leakage class A; B – AB leakage class I, 1...2% of the Kvs value.
• Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel; control orifice: ETFE.
• Pipe connection: male thread according to ISO 228-1.

For medium temperatures of -10...2°C, a valve neck extension is recommended. The permissible medium temperature may depend on the actuator type; limitations are specified in the relevant actuator data sheets. Installation is permitted from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem, but not with the stem pointing downwards.
