Belimo R531 – 3-way control valve

Valve with a control bore for open and closed water systems and water-side control in ventilation and heating systems. It is operated by a rotary actuator.

Key specifications

  • DN 32, PN 25; G 2" male thread.
  • Kvs 16 m³/h; flow through bypass B – AB: 70% of the Kvs value.
  • Medium: water, water with max. 50% vol. glycol.
  • Medium temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
  • Differential pressure: ∆pmax 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
  • Flow characteristic: A – AB equal percentage, B – AB linear.
  • Leakage: A – AB bubble-tight, leakage class A; B – AB leakage class I, 1...2% of the Kvs value.
  • Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closing element and stem.

Installation notes

Permitted installation position: from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem; installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted. At a medium temperature of -10...2°C, a valve stem extension is recommended. The permitted medium temperature may depend on the actuator used.
