Belimo TRF230-S – actuator for ball valves

During operation, the rotary actuator moves the valve to its operating position and tensions the return spring. If the power supply is interrupted, the spring moves the valve to its safety position: NC, valve closed (A–AB = 0%). For valves with an L-port, the data sheet specifies A–AB = 100%.

• Control: Close/Open. Motor running time: 75 s / 90°; safety function running time: <75 s / 90°.
• Auxiliary switch: 1x SPDT, 0...100%, with adjustable switching point.
• Power consumption during operation: 2.5 W; at rest: 1.5 W; sizing power: 5 VA.
• Power and control connection: 1 m cable, 2x 0.75 mm²; auxiliary switch connection: 1 m cable, 3x 0.75 mm².
• Mechanical position indicator; IP42 protection rating.
• Direct mounting on the ball valve with one screw; mounting position relative to the valve can be selected in 90° increments.

The actuator is protected against overload and stops automatically when the end stop is reached. The device is intended for stationary heating, ventilation and air-conditioning installations.
