Belimo X8022M.32AA4 – expansion valve

Two-way expansion valve for CFC, HFC, HFO and R290 refrigerants. It features an integrated superheat controller, tight shut-off and a SuperCap fail-safe closing function.

• Connection: internal ODF 22-22 mm solder sleeve; body: CW617N brass; closing element: AISI 316L stainless steel.
• Cooling capacity: 500 kW with R134a, Tc = 50°C, Te = 5°C, SC = SH = 5 K.
• Operating pressure ps: 5000 kPa; maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 3500 kPa.
• Rated voltage: AC/DC 24 V; power consumption during operation: 1.5 W; power consumption for cable sizing: 2.6 VA.
• Feedback signal: Modbus or analogue 0...10 V.
• Motor running time: 20 s / 90°; fail-safe function running time: 15 s / 90°.
• Medium temperature: -20...70°C [-4...158°F]; with ZCQ-E: 70...120°C [158...248°F]. Ambient temperature: -30...50°C [-22...122°F].
• Tightness: air-bubble tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1); flow characteristic: equal percentage (VDI/VDE 2178).
• IEC/EN degree of protection: IP54; IEC/EN protection class: III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
• Permitted mounting position: from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem; mounting with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted.
