Belimo X8028M.2A3A3 two-way expansion valve with a Kvs coefficient of 4.8 m³/h and an internal ODF 28-28 mm brazed connection. Designed for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems; suitable for refrigerants in safety class A3 (ISO 817).

AC/DC 24 V supply, controlled by bipolar stepper motor signals (4 wires) from a superheat controller, and configurable via the xBALL Syncra app.

Belimo X8028M.2A3A3 – expansion valve

Two-way expansion valve for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. The technical data sheet confirms an internal ODF 28-28 mm brazed connection and a Kvs coefficient of 4.8 m³/h.

Key features and specifications

Suitable for CFC, HFC, HFO and R290 refrigerants, and for refrigerants in safety class A3 (ISO 817).
Hermetically sealed, tight-closing valve; tightness: air-bubble tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1).
Flow characteristic: equal percentage (VDI/VDE 2173).
Permissible operating pressure ps: 5000 kPa; maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 3500 kPa.
AC/DC 24 V supply; power consumption during operation 1.5 W; power consumption for cable sizing 2.6 VA.
Control: bipolar stepper motor signals (4 wires) from a superheat controller. Configuration via smartphone with the xBALL Syncra app.
Motor travel time: 15 s / 90°; degree of protection IEC/EN IP54; IEC/EN protection class III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
Ambient temperature: -30...50°C [-22...122°F]; medium temperature: -20...70°C [-4...158°F], with ZCQ-E 70...120°C [158...248°F].
Mounting position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the stem; mounting with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted.
Body: Brass CW617N; closing element: Stainless steel AISI 316L. The valve is maintenance-free; manual repositioning with the actuator disconnected.

Use only Belimo Z-C24X3R.. cables for connection; cables are not included in the delivery. When using flammable refrigerants, the user must check that the product is suitable for the specific installation.
