Belimo X8042M.3B323 – control valve

2-way control valve with equal-percentage characteristic (VDI/VDE 2173), designed to regulate refrigerant flow. The ball valve is positioned by a rotary actuator.

• Kvs: 8 m³/h; connection: female ODF solder socket 42-42 mm; PN 50.
• Supply: AC/DC 24 V; modulating control, operating range Y 0.5...10 V and feedback signal U 0.5...10 V.
• Power consumption during operation and in the idle position: 0.3 W; for cable sizing: 0.6 VA. Electrical connection: 3 m cable, 4x 0.34 mm².
• Motor running time: 15 s / 90°; maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 3500 kPa.
• Medium temperature: -20...70°C [-4...158°F]; with ZCQ-E: 70...120°C [158...248°F]. Ambient temperature: -30...60°C [-22...140°F], without radiation.
• Tightness: air-bubble tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1). IEC/EN protection rating IP40; IEC/EN protection class III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
• Body: CW617N brass; closing element: AISI 316L stainless steel.
• Permitted installation position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the spindle; installation with the spindle pointing downwards is not permitted. Flow is possible in both directions.

The valve is suitable for A3 safety class refrigerants (ISO 817) and CFC, HFC, HFO and R290 refrigerants. For applications involving flammable refrigerants, the user must verify the product’s suitability for each specific application.
