Belimo X8042M.3B3A4 – technical data

Two-way expansion valve with integrated superheat controller, designed for refrigeration applications. The product data sheet specifies a cooling capacity of 500 kW for this variant at R134a, Tc = 50°C, Te = 5°C and SC = SH = 5 K.

• Refrigerants: CFC, HFC, HFO and R290; suitable for safety class A3 refrigerants (ISO 817).
• Pipe connection: internal ODF 42-42 mm soldering sleeve; PN 50.
• Nominal voltage: AC/DC 24 V; power consumption during operation: 1.5 W; power for cable sizing: 2.6 VA.
• Feedback signal: Modbus or analogue 0...10 V.
• Motor running time: 20 s / 90°.
• Medium temperature: -20...70°C [-4...158°F]; with ZCQ-E 70...120°C [158...248°F]. Ambient temperature: -30...50°C [-22...122°F], without radiation.
• Maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 3500 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: equal percentage (VDI/VDE 2178). Tightness: air-bubble tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1).
• Valve body: CW617N brass; closing element: AISI 316L stainless steel.
• IEC/EN IP54 degree of protection; IEC/EN protection class III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
• Permitted mounting position: from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem; installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted.
