Belimo ZIP-BT-NFC converter

ZIP-BT-NFC is designed for temporary wireless operation of Belimo devices with an NFC interface using a smartphone with a Belimo app. Communication with the smartphone takes place via Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (BLE), and with the Belimo device via NFC – Near Field Communication. A one-time pairing is required to connect to the smartphone.

• Point-to-point operating mode; access to the NFC interface of the Belimo device while it is operating or when its power supply is disconnected.
• Range: max. approx. 5 m, depending on the surroundings.
• Temporary attachment to the Belimo device using a micro-suction film on the back of the converter.
• Built-in 450 mAh rechargeable battery, non-replaceable; Micro USB 2.0 type B charging input.
• Typical charging time: ~ 2 h using a 5 W charger. The converter can be used while charging.
• Operating and charging status indicated by an LED.
• IP20 protection rating; operating temperature 0…50°C, non-condensing.

Use and package contents

The device is intended for temporary indoor use only. Operation requires a smartphone with a Belimo app and a Belimo device with an NFC interface. The package contains the ZIP-BT-NFC converter, a USB charging cable with a USB type A plug, a safety strap and installation instructions. A USB mains adapter is not included.
