Belimo BAT72/9 – thermoelectric release

The device is intended for fire dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. When the temperature exceeds 72°C inside or outside the duct, the corresponding thermal fuse trips and permanently, irreversibly interrupts the power supply voltage. The system can be checked using the test button.

• Rated voltage: AC/DC 24 V; rated voltage frequency: 50/60 Hz.
• Operating temperature inside the duct: 72°C (black); operating temperature outside the duct: 72°C.
• Duct probe length: 90 mm.
• Power connection: 1 m cable, 2x 0.75 mm²; Betaflam cable resistant to temperatures up to 145°C.
• IEC/EN degree of protection: IP54; IEC/EN protection class: III, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
• Ambient temperature: -30...55°C [-22...131°F].
• The device meets the specific requirements of ISO 10294-4.

The thermal fuse inside the duct is replaceable. The thermal fuse outside the duct is not replaceable; if it trips, the actuator must be replaced. Installation is carried out using the factory-fitted self-drilling, self-tapping screws. Power must be supplied from an isolating transformer.
