Belimo 01ATS-1050B – frost protection temperature monitoring

The thermostat monitors the temperature of water and air heaters in stationary ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Frost protection alarm is provided by a single-pole SPDT changeover contact. The 01ATS-1050B version has a 6 m capillary and automatic reset: when the temperature rises, the microswitch returns to its initial position.

If the temperature along a 300 mm section of the capillary falls below the set value, circuit 1-2 opens and circuit 1-4 closes. The ambient temperature at the housing must exceed the set switching point by more than 2 K.
