Belimo 01ATS-105XC – frost monitoring

The thermostat is designed to monitor the temperature of water and air heaters in stationary ventilation and air conditioning systems. A frost alarm is signalled by a single-pole changeover contact (SPDT). If the temperature falls below the setpoint, the device locks out and requires manual reset; it can be reset manually once the temperature rises.

• Measuring range and setting range: -10...15°C; default setting: 5°C.
• Switching differential: 1.5 K (±1 K tolerance); setting accuracy: ±2 K.
• Output: changeover contact (SPDT), manual reset.

If the temperature falls below the setpoint along a 300 mm section of the capillary, circuit 1-2 opens and circuit 1-4 closes. The ambient temperature at the housing must exceed the set switching point by more than 2 K to ensure reliable switching.
