Communicating rotary actuator for ball valves. During operation, it positions the valve according to the control signal and tensions the return spring. If the power supply is interrupted, the spring moves the valve to the NO fail-safe position — valve open.

Functions

The actuator can operate with an analogue control signal Y or receive a digital control signal via MP-Bus. It allows a passive sensor, active sensor or switching contact to be connected and its signal to be transmitted via MP-Bus. It has mechanical position indication and a setting range adaptation function. Selected parameters can be changed using Belimo Assistant 2.
