The device converts the rotary movement of a spring-return actuator into a feedback potentiometer signal. It is designed for use with actuators LF.., NF..A.. and SF..A... The unit is mounted directly on the actuator's hollow shaft using an adapter and then screwed to the actuator.

The potentiometer is used for modulating damper control in combination with controllers with fixed feedback. It can also be used with damper position indication systems or as a controller for parallel operation of actuators.
