Belimo BF230/500 – actuator for fire and smoke dampers

Spring-return actuator designed for 90° fire and smoke dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. During operation, the motor moves the damper to the operating position and tensions the return spring. When the power supply is interrupted, the spring energy moves the damper to the safety position.

• Motor torque 18 Nm; safety function torque 12 Nm.
• Motor running time <120 s / 90°; safety function running time 16 s @ 20°C.
• Max. rotation angle 95°; motor rotation direction selected by L/R mounting.
• Two auxiliary switches 2x SPDT with switching points at 5° / 80° and a mechanical position indicator.
• 12x12 mm form-fit connection, blind hollow shaft.
• Manual override with position stop.
• Power consumption during operation 8 W, in the idle position 3 W; sizing power for cable selection 12.5 VA.
• Power and control cable: 5 m, 2x 0.75 mm²; auxiliary switch cable: 5 m, 6x 0.75 mm²; halogen-free cables.
