Belimo R2015-4-S1 – 2-way control valve

Ball valve with a control insert for open and closed water systems. Designed for water-side control in ventilation and heating systems. The integrated control insert provides an equal-percentage flow characteristic.

  • Medium: water, water with max. 50% by volume glycol.
  • Medium temperature: -10...120°C [14...248°F].
  • Differential pressure Δpmax: 350 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps: 1400 kPa. 200 kPa is specified for quiet operation.
  • Flow characteristic: equal-percentage, optimised over the opening range.
  • Leakage: bubble-tight, leakage class A.
  • Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closing element and stem.
  • Rotation angle: 90°; operating range: 15...90°.

Installation notes

Permitted installation position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the axis. Installation with the axis pointing downwards is not permitted. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body.

At a medium temperature of -10...2°C, stem heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted medium temperature may be limited depending on the actuator type; limitations are given in the relevant actuator data sheets.
