Belimo R2015-S1 – Open/Close ball valve

2-way ball valve for open and closed water systems. It is used to shut off flow on the water side and for Open/Close control in ventilation and heating systems. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator.

Key features and specifications

• DN 15, Rp 1/2" female thread connection compliant with ISO 7-1; PN 40.
• Kvs 15 m³/h; ps 1600 kPa.
• Fluid: water or water with max. 50% vol. glycol.
• Fluid temperature: -10...120°C [14...248°F].
• Maximum differential pressure ∆pmax 1000 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa. For quiet operation: 200 kPa.
• Leak-tightness: bubble-tight, leakage rate class A (EN 12266-1).
• Rotation angle: 90°. Opens anticlockwise and closes clockwise.
• Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closing element and spindle; spindle seal: EPDM O-ring; seat: PTFE, EPDM O-ring.
• Installation from vertical to horizontal relative to the axis; installation with the axis pointing downwards is not permitted.

For fluid temperatures of -10...2°C, spindle heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permissible fluid temperature range may depend on the actuator type.
