Belimo R2020-S2 – on/off ball valve

2-way valve with female thread, designed for open and closed water systems. Used for water-side shut-off and on/off control in ventilation and heating systems. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator with an on/off control signal.

• Type: R2020-S2; DN 20; PN 40.
• Connection: Rp 3/4" female thread, in accordance with ISO 7-1.
• Kvs: 32 m³/h.
• Fluid: water, water with up to 50% vol. glycol.
• Fluid temperature: -10...120°C [14...248°F].
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 1000 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa. 200 kPa is specified for quiet operation.
• Leakage: bubble-tight, leakage rate class A (EN 12266-1).
• Rotation angle: 90°. Opens counter-clockwise and closes clockwise.
• Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel; stem seal: EPDM O-ring; seat: PTFE, EPDM O-ring.

Installation notes

Installation is permitted from vertical to horizontal relative to the valve axis; installation with the axis pointing downwards is not permitted. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body. At a fluid temperature of -10...2°C, heating the stem or using a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may depend on the actuator type.
