Belimo R3015-S1 changeover ball valve

3-way valve for closed water systems. Designed for changeover and open/close control on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator controlled by an open/close signal.

Key features and specifications

• DN 15, PN 40; Rp 1/2" female threaded connection in accordance with ISO 7-1.
• Kvs 15 m³/h; flow through bypass B – AB: approx. 50% of the Kvs value.
• Medium: water or water with a maximum of 50% vol. glycol; medium temperature -10...120°C [14...248°F].
• Maximum differential pressure Δpmax 1000 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa. 200 kPa is specified for quiet operation.
• Tightness A – AB: bubble-tight, leakage class A (EN 12266-1); B – AB: leakage class I (EN 1349 and EN 60534-4), max. 1% of the Kvs value.
• Rotation angle 90°. Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closure element and stem.
• Stem seal: EPDM O-ring; seat: PTFE, EPDM O-ring.

Installation notes

Permitted mounting position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the stem; do not install with the stem pointing downwards. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body. For medium temperatures of -10...2°C, heating the shaft or using a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted medium temperature may depend on the actuator type; refer to its product data sheet for limitations.
