Belimo R3040-25-S4 – 3-way control valve

Valve with characterised disc for closed water systems, designed for water-side control in ventilation and heating systems.

Key technical data

• Type: 3-way; DN 40; PN 25; ps 1600 kPa.
• Connection: Rp 1 1/2" female thread.
• Kvs: 25 m³/h; flow through bypass B – AB: 70% of the Kvs value.
• Medium: water, water with max. 50% by volume glycol.
• Medium temperature: -10...120°C [14...248°F].
• Maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 350 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa. Differential pressure recommendation: 200 kPa to ensure quiet operation.
• Flow characteristic: A – AB equal percentage, B – AB linear.
• Leakage: A – AB bubble-tight, leakage class A; B – AB leakage class I, 1...2% of the Kvs value.
• Angle of rotation: 90°. Operating range A – AB: 15...90°, B – AB: 15...70°.
• Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel.

Installation notes

Installation is permitted from vertical to horizontal; do not install with the stem pointing downwards. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body.

At a medium temperature of -10...2°C, stem heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted medium temperature may depend on the actuator type; limitations are given in the relevant actuator data sheets.
