Belimo R415 – technical data

2-way Open/Close ball valve with male thread. Designed for shut-off on the water side and Open/Close control in ventilation and heating systems.

  • DN 15; PN 40; G 1" connection with male thread according to ISO 228-1.
  • Kvs 8.6 m³/h; differential pressure Δpmax 400 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa.
  • Medium: water or water with a maximum of 50% vol. glycol; drinking water on request.
  • Medium temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F]. At -10...2°C, an extended valve neck is recommended.
  • Tightness: bubble-tight, class A (EN 12266-1).
  • Body made of nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem made of stainless steel.
  • Rotation angle: 90°; installation from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem, but not with the stem pointing downwards.

For quiet operation, a differential pressure of 200 kPa is specified. The permissible medium temperature may depend on the actuator type; limitations are stated in the relevant actuator data sheets. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body.
