Belimo R548 – 3-way modulating ball valve

A valve with a regulating orifice for open and closed water systems and water-side control in ventilation and heating systems. Connection with male thread according to ISO 228-1.

• Pattern: 3-way; DN 50; G 2 3/4" male thread; PN 25.
• Kvs: 25 m³/h; bypass flow B – AB: 70% of the Kvs value.
• Fluid: water, water with up to 50% vol. glycol.
• Fluid temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 200 kPa; closing pressure: 1400 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: A – AB equal percentage, B – AB linear.
• Tightness: A – AB bubble-tight, leakage class A; B – AB leakage class I, 1...2% of the Kvs value.
• Rotation angle: 90°; operating range A – AB: 15...90°, B – AB: 15...70°.
• Body: nickel-plated brass; closing element and stem: stainless steel.

Installation notes

Permitted installation position: from vertical to horizontal in relation to the stem; installation with the stem pointing downwards is not permitted. At a fluid temperature of -10...2°C, extending the valve neck is recommended. The permitted fluid temperature may be limited depending on the actuator type.
