Belimo R425 – On/Off ball valve

2-way ball valve with male thread for open and closed water systems. It is used for water-side shut-off and On/Off control in ventilation and heating systems. The valve is operated by a rotary actuator controlled by an On/Off signal.

• Type: R425; DN 25; PN 40; connection: G 1 1/2" male thread.
• Kvs 26 m³/h; ps 1600 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa; differential pressure Δpmax 400 kPa.
• Fluid: water, water with a maximum of 50% vol. glycol; drinking water on request.
• Fluid temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F]. A valve neck extension is recommended at -10...2°C; the permitted temperature may depend on the actuator type.
• Tightness: bubble-tight, leakage rate class A (EN 12266-1).
• Nickel-plated brass body; stainless steel closing element and stem.
• Rotation angle 90°; opens counterclockwise and closes clockwise.

Installation is permitted with the stem between vertical and horizontal positions; do not install the valve with the stem pointing downwards. Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the body. A differential pressure of 200 kPa is specified for quiet operation.
