Belimo EV040R2+MID – Energy Valve™ with thermal energy meter

2-way control valve with actuator, flow and temperature measurement, and power and energy monitoring. Designed for closed water systems and water-side control in ventilation and heating installations. The thermal energy meter is MID-approved and meets EN 1434 requirements for heating applications.

• Nominal flow V'nom 2.78 l/s; adjustable V'max in the range 25...100% V'nom.
• Control by flow, power, position or differential pressure. Differential pressure control requires a suitable sensor, which is not included.
• Power and energy monitoring, glycol concentration monitoring, and data logging for 13 months.
• Integrated delta T manager; available in power, flow and position control modes.
• BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, MP-Bus and Cloud communication; also features an integrated web server and NFC interface for configuration with Belimo Assistant 2.
• AC/DC 24 V supply; power consumption 5 W during operation and 3.9 W in the rest position; wire sizing power 7.5 VA.
• Control signal Y range 2...10 V. Manual override by push-button, with the option to lock it.
• Medium: water; medium temperature -10...120°C [14...248°F]. MID-certified medium temperature range: 15...120°C.
• ∆pmax 350 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa.
• IEC/EN IP54 protection rating; IEC/EN protection class III, Protective Extra-Low Voltage (PELV).
• Insulation shell for DN 32...50 included; according to the datasheet, the shell is not included in the Asia-Pacific region.

For medium temperatures of -10...2°C, the manufacturer recommends stem heating or a valve neck extension.
