Belimo R7040R16-B3 – 3-way control valve

A control valve with a control orifice for closed water systems, designed for flow control on the water side of ventilation and heating systems. The flanged connection complies with EN 1092-1/4.

Key features and specifications

• Pattern: 3-way; DN 40, PN 6; Kvs 16 m³/h.
• Medium: water, water with max. 50% by volume glycol.
• Medium temperature: -10...100°C [14...212°F].
• Differential pressure: ∆pmax 100 kPa; closing pressure: 600 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: A – AB equal percentage, B – AB linear; flow through bypass B – AB: 70% of Kvs value.
• Tightness: A – AB bubble-tight, leakage class A; B – AB leakage class I, 1...2% of Kvs value.
• Nickel-plated brass body; aluminium flange for DN 40.
• Mounting position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the spindle axis; mounting with the spindle pointing downwards is not permitted.

At a medium temperature of -10...2°C, stem heating or a valve neck extension is recommended. The permitted medium temperature may depend on the actuator type; refer to the relevant actuator data sheets for limitations.
