Belimo TRF230-O – actuator for ball valves

Rotary actuator with a return spring. During operation, the motor moves the valve to the operating position and tensions the spring. When power is interrupted, the spring moves the valve to the fail-safe position: deenergised NO, valve open (A–AB = 100%). For valves with an L-port, the datasheet specifies A–AB = 0%.

• Nominal voltage: AC 100...240 V, 50/60 Hz; voltage range: AC 85...265 V.
• Control: Open/Close.
• Motor running time: 75 s / 90°; fail-safe function running time: <75 s / 90°.
• Power consumption during operation: 2.5 W; in the rest position: 1.5 W; for cable sizing: 5 VA.
• Power and control connection: 1 m cable, 2x 0.75 mm².
• Mechanical position indicator; IEC/EN degree of protection: IP42.
• Direct mounting on the ball valve with one screw, with the option to set the actuator relative to the valve in 90° increments.
• Overload protection and automatic stop when the end position is reached; limit switches are not required.

The device is intended for stationary heating, ventilation and air conditioning installations. Installation may only be carried out by qualified specialists.
