The 6-way regulating ball valve with control orifice serves two sequences using a single 90° rotary actuator. It is designed for switching or analog control of water flow in heating and cooling elements in closed-loop water systems.

Key features and specifications

• DN 15; Rp 1/2" female threaded connection; PN 16.
• Kvs sequence 1: 1.8 m³/h; Kvs sequence 2: 0.25 m³/h.
• Medium: water or water with a maximum of 50% vol. glycol.
• Medium temperature: 6...80°C [43...176°F].
• Pressure differential ∆pmax: 100 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps: 350 kPa; quiet operation Δpv100 <50 kPa.
• Flow characteristic: linear; permissible leakage: bubble-tight, leakage class A (EN 12266-1).
• Angle of rotation: 90°; sequence 1: 0...30° (cooling recommended), dead zone: 30...60°, sequence 2: 60...90° (heating recommended).
• Nickel-plated brass body; chrome-plated brass closing element; stainless steel control orifice.

The valve can be installed with the spindle in positions from vertical to horizontal; it must not be installed with the axis pointing downwards. In the closed position (45°), the built-in pressure reducer compensates for changes in medium pressure in the enclosed volume.
