6-way regulating ball valve with control insert, designed for closed-loop water systems. It is used for switching or analogue flow control in heating and cooling elements.

Key features and parameters

• DN 20; Rp 3/4" female threaded connection according to ISO 7-1; PN 16.
• Kvs of sequence I: 1.6 m³/h; Kvs of sequence II: 2.5 m³/h.
• Medium: water, water with max. 50% by volume glycol; medium temperature: 6...80°C [43...176°F].
• Maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 100 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps: 350 kPa; quiet operation Δpv100 <50 kPa.
• Linear flow characteristic; bubble-tight, leakage rate class A (EN 12266-1).
• 90° rotation angle: sequence 1: 0...30° (cooling recommended), dead zone: 30...60°, sequence 2: 60...90° (heating recommended).
• The integrated pressure reducer compensates for changes in medium pressure in a closed volume when the valve is in the closed position (45°).
• Body made of nickel-plated brass, closing element made of chrome-plated brass, control insert made of stainless steel.

Permitted mounting position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the spindle. Do not install with the axis pointing downwards.
