Belimo X8028M.1A3A4 – expansion valve

Two-way expansion valve with integrated superheat controller and tight shut-off. The documentation specifies use in refrigeration systems, stationary heat pumps, air-conditioning systems and dehumidifiers.

• Refrigerants: CFC, HFC, HFO and R290; suitable for A3 safety class refrigerants (ISO 817).
• Cooling capacity: 100 kW for R134a at Tc = 50°C, Te = 5°C, SC = SH = 5 K.
• Connection: internal ODF 28-28 mm brazing sleeve.
• Rated voltage: AC/DC 24 V; power consumption during operation: 1.5 W; power consumption for cable sizing: 2.6 VA.
• Feedback signal: Modbus or analogue 0...10 V. Configuration via the xBALL Syncra app.
• Motor running time: 20 s / 90°; flow characteristic: equal percentage (VDI/VDE 2178).
• Permissible operating pressure ps: 5000 kPa; maximum differential pressure ∆pmax: 3500 kPa.
• Tightness: air-bubble tight, leakage rate A (EN 12266-1).
• Medium temperature: -20...70°C [-4...158°F]; with ZCQ-E: 70...120°C [158...248°F]. Ambient temperature: -30...50°C [-22...122°F], without radiation.
• IEC/EN IP54 degree of protection; IEC/EN class III protection, Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV).
• Valve body: CW617N brass; closing element: AISI 316L stainless steel.
• Permissible mounting position: from vertical to horizontal relative to the spindle; installation with the spindle pointing downwards is not permitted.

When using flammable refrigerants, the user must check the suitability of the product for the specific installation. Cables are not included; the documentation specifies using only Belimo Z-C24X4... cables.
