Belimo BFA230-T

Spring-return actuator with BAT thermal release (72°C), designed for fire and smoke dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. When powered, the actuator moves the damper to its operating position and tensions the return spring. When the power supply is interrupted, the spring moves the damper to its safety position.

  • Nominal voltage: AC 230 V; frequency: 50/60 Hz; voltage range: AC 85...264 V.
  • Control: Close/Open. Motor running time: <60 s / 90°; safety function running time: 20 s @ -10...55°C, <60 s @ -30...-10°C.
  • BAT release with thermal fuses that respond at 72°C to the temperature inside and outside the duct.
  • Two auxiliary switches, 2x SPDT, with switching points at 5° / 80°.
  • 12x12 mm form-fit connection with a hollow shaft passing through; rotation angle: max. 95°.
  • Motor direction of movement selected by L/R mounting; manual adjustment with stop when the power supply is disconnected.
  • Power consumption: 10 W during operation and 3 W in the resting position; sizing power for cable selection: 17 VA.
  • Power and control connection: 1 m cable, 2x 0.75 mm², FRNC (halogen-free); auxiliary switch connection: 1 m cable, 6x 0.75 mm², FRNC (halogen-free).
  • Degree of protection IP54; IEC/EN protection class II, reinforced insulation.
