Belimo EP020R2+KBAC – EPIV valve

Pressure-independent 2-way control valve with a flow sensor and fail-safe actuator. Designed for water-side control in closed ventilation and heating systems.

Key features and specifications

• DN 20, PN 25; Rp 3/4" female thread and G 1" male thread.
• V'nom 0.69 l/s (2.5 m³/h); V'max adjustable within 25...100% V'nom.
• Medium: water or water with up to 60% vol. glycol; medium temperature -10...120°C [14...248°F].
• Measurement of flow and medium temperature, plus glycol concentration monitoring.
• AC/DC 24 V supply; power consumption during operation 4 W, in rest position 3.7 W.
• Operating range of control signal Y: 2...10 V; BACnet MS/TP, Modbus RTU and MP-Bus communication. Hybrid mode available.
• In the event of a power failure, the actuator moves to the set fail-safe position; fail-safe travel time 35 s / 90°.
• ∆pmax 350 kPa; closing pressure ∆ps 1400 kPa.
• Configuration via NFC using Belimo Assistant 2; manual adjustment with a button.
• IEC/EN IP54 protection rating; electrical connection: 1 m cable.

At a medium temperature of -10...2°C, stem heating or a valve neck extension is recommended.
