Belimo 01ATS-1040B – frost protection thermostat

The device monitors the temperature of water and air heaters in ventilation and air conditioning systems. The frost alarm is provided by a single-pole SPDT changeover contact. The 01ATS-1040B version has a 3 m capillary and automatic reset: when the temperature rises, the microswitch returns to its initial position.

If the capillary temperature falls below the set point over a 150 mm section, circuit 1-2 opens and circuit 1-4 closes. The ambient temperature at the housing must exceed the set switching point by more than 2 K.
