When the power supply fails, the spring moves the valve to the closed position (NC). The actuator has two integrated auxiliary switches 2x SPDT.

Rotary actuator for ball valves. During operation, it moves the valve to the operating position and tensions the return spring; when the power supply is interrupted, the spring moves the valve to the closed position (NC).
